Frequently asked questions
Why not just paste the password in Teams?
Because Teams keeps it: in the history, the backups, search and compliance exports. A one-time link disappears after it is read, and the sender knows it was opened.
What if the recipient does not open the link in time?
The secret is erased when it expires. You create a new one; nothing can be recovered, by you or by us.
Where is the data hosted?
In Paris (Scaleway), under French law. The DPA and the list of sub-processors are published in the Trust Center.
Do I need a Microsoft account?
No. Microsoft is the fastest, but an e-mail sign-in link works with any work address. Opening a link you received needs no account at all.
