Will my codes stop working if I stop paying?

No. Static codes contain the content itself and work forever. Editable codes keep redirecting to their destination on every plan, even after a Pro subscription ends - you only lose the ability to create more than the Free allowance.

What is the difference between a static and an editable code?

A static code holds the link or the data directly: nothing to host, no tracking, but it cannot change once printed. An editable code holds a short link (apps.olyteck.com/q/…): you can change where it leads after printing and see how many times it was scanned.

What do you record when someone scans an editable code?

A counter per day and whether the scan came from a phone. No IP address, no location, no cookie, no profile of the person who scans.

How does the safety check work?

Drop a screenshot or a photo of a QR code, or use your camera: the code is read in your browser and the image is never uploaded. You see the real destination before opening it, with warnings for the tricks used in QR phishing (link shorteners, look-alike domains, login pages, pre-filled e-mail addresses, IBANs to verify).
